Beata Vita has multiple meanings - in Latin, it means the good or happy life, while in Italian it means the blessed life. Both of these meanings are applicable as we want to show gratitude for the blessings and happiness God has provided in our lives.
The name of this brand also pays homage to St. Augustine of Hippo. In 386 AD he wrote "De Beata Vita" or "The Happy Life". In this work, Augustine argues that a happy life is not achieved through material pleasure or external goods, but through knowing God - the source of all truth and goodness.
St. Augustine, pray for us!
